About me

About me

I have got experience treating patients of all age groups and from a wide range of backgrounds.

I have a special interest in cranial osteopathy and have completed post-graduate training with and am a fellow of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy (SCCO). Cranial osteopaths use a gentle approach that includes techniques for treating the whole body.

I have also completed a Paediatric Osteopathy Diploma with the SCCO. I enjoy treating babies and children and I find that the treatment often makes a difference to the whole family.

For me it is important to help people get back to or continue doing things that they love, this can be after a physical or emotional trauma, or if you are suffering from a chronic condition. There is a connection between our health and mental wellbeing, if we don't feel well, we  cannot fully enjoy things we like doing.

Treatment of the body can also support recovery after a traumatic experience and help us get back "into" our body and enjoy physical experiences more. I have been interested in how trauma affects our health, lives and our body for a long time and try to provide a safe environment for people who have experienced it.

I have a background in massage therapy and my interest in learning more about the human body and how to help patients in their recovery led to me studying osteopathy in Germany with College Sutherland. I have done post-graduate training in different countries and still enjoy travelling and working with colleagues from all over the world. I am also a trained Pilates teacher which enables me to suggest exercises and adjustments to your personal or work life.

I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and am a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
